Educational programming is central to the services provided by the counseling department. As part of its mission to help families cope with the challenges presented during the adolescent years, educational programs provide students and parents with essential information on a variety of topics. Topics and programs are selected based on age-appropriateness and the needs expressed by students, parents, and faculty. The Parent Speaker Series brings in outside speakers to address topics of current interest to MUS families. For more information about the Parent Speaker Series events listed below, please contact Catherine Schuhmacher at (901) 260-1326.
