Semester Exams Information
Semester exams are just around the corner, so make note of the provided exam schedules and details:
- All exams begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 10:45 a.m. Students should be on campus no later than 8:15 a.m.
- Exam grades count for 25 percent of a semester average. Most students will only have one exam per day.
- We strongly discourage any attempt to reschedule an exam, so please add these dates to your calendar. These links are downloadable versions of Upper School, eighth-grade, and seventh-grade exam schedules.
- Tuesday, December 13, is the last day of classes for the 2nd Quarter and will be a half-day. Lunch will not be served.

Tips for Exam Success
- Get organized!!!
- Go through all notebooks and make sure you have all the notes, old quizzes, and old tests (if available) to study.
- Use the exam calendars provided above to help you make a study schedule. Write down what you need to study each day so that you have a plan to follow.
- Determine which class(es) may need the most attention, and prioritize your time.
Make a to-do list each day.
- Put academics first during this time; less distractions = greater success!
- Eat well and get adequate sleep.
- Use stress-management strategies like exercise, sports, and family time to destress.

The award-winning a cappella group, Beg To Differ®, and the Studio Band will perform holiday classics and other standards at the MUS Winter Choral Concert on Thursday, December 8, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. in Hyde Chapel. There is no cost to attend this event. top
All parents are invited to attend the next event on Thursday, January 26 at 12:00 noon in the Wunderlich Auditorium. We will host Assistant U.S. Attorney Deb Ireland, a member of the Project Safe Childhood Unit. Technology is constantly changing, creating potential dangers with each new development. Ireland will provide a wealth of knowledge about the Internet, cyberbullying, and strategies to keep our kids safe online. Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP by Tuesday, January 24.

Meal Plan Payment Due, Dec. 6
Payment to Sodexo is due by December 6 for the second semester meal plan. You can mail it to Sodexo at 6191 Park Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119, or have your son bring it to the Dining Hall at lunch.
