At Memphis University School, parents are an essential part of the school community, and we offer parents a variety of educational and social events throughout the year. The
Counseling Center sponsors the
Parent Speaker Series and the
Parent Book Club and works with our active
Parents’ Association on the
Parent to Parent Program. The PA also hosts parent networking events as well as many opportunities for parents to get directly involved with the school by volunteering.
Each fall, MUS hosts Parents’ Back to School Day, an event that allows parents to come and experience their son’s schedule by going to his classes and meeting faculty and administration members. In addition, we encourage parents to attend athletic events, plays, art shows, concerts, and the many other events held at MUS throughout the school year.
Our Web site and monthly parent e-newsletter keep parents informed of upcoming events as well as calendar and schedule changes. Also, the
Lower School blog is available for news, information, and commentary for parents of Lower School students.
Please let us know how we can make your family’s time at MUS the best possible experience.
