The fall of 2004 marked the inaugural year of the Alumni Softball League (ASL). Owen
Tabor, Jr. '85 organized the league, which fielded four teams: the Spots, the O'fers, the Brew Crew, and the Cloud of Dust.
In the 2005 season, all four teams returned to play, and the league welcomed three new teams: the Regulators, the Softballs, and the Slawdoggs. The 2006 ASL season proved to be a success as the seven teams battled for the coveted championship t-shirt.
All games are played at beautiful Thorn Field, beginning in September. Commissioner Tabor hopes the build the ASL by adding new teams. If you are willing to rise to the challenge and play in the ASL, contact Owen Tabor.
