Tennessee Bar Association | Mock Trial Case | Mock Trial Resources

Students take on the responsibilities of witnesses and attorneys in the High School Mock Trial Competition. MUS has entered a team in the local Mock Trial competition for the past 19 years, as long as the Tennessee Bar Association Young Lawyers' Division has sponsored the event. 

Teams receive the case in late November and prepare both the prosecution and defense. MUS alumni who are attorneys in the Memphis area volunteer to coach the student teams. This year's local competition will be held February 19 through February 28th at the Shelby County Courthouse and the statewide competition will take place March 23 and 24 in Nashville.
