  • Lower School Track Wins 2024 Shelby League Championship

    The MUS Lower School Track and Field team won the Shelby League Championship on Friday  at MUS finishing the season undefeated. Twenty MUS athletes scored points during the final meet as the Owls finished with a team total of 107 points.  MUS also had a total of 21 PR’s set during the championship meet.
     
    The MUS scoring leaders were:
    Hudson Bobo 15 points (4 x 800 1st, 1600 3rd, 800 4th, 4 x 400 4th)
    Tommie Reed 14.5 points ( Long Jump 8th, Hurdles 1st, 100 7th, 4 x 100 4th)
    Harry Word 12 points ( Shot Put 2nd, Discus 5th)
    Benji Berry 12 points (4 x 800 1st, 800 2nd, 4 x 400 4th)
    Tanner Mills 10 points (Shot Put 1st)
    Fort Gusmus 9.5 points (400 1st, 4 x 400 4th)
     
    MUS Individual Winners:
    Tanner Mills won the Shot Put  (39-4)
    Tommie Reed won the 110 Hurdles (17.18) PR
    Zach Wildrick, Fitz Wilson, Hudson Bobo and Benji Berry won the 4 x 800 relay (9:35) PR
  • Lower School Track Wins League Meet #4

     
    The MUS Lower School track team won an 8 team meet on Thursday at MUS, scoring 159 points.
     
    The final team scores were:

    Tanner Mills won the shot Put (38’8”)
    Walker Wilhite and Daniel Conley tied for first in the   High Jump (4’9”)

    Benji Berry, Hudson Bobo, Zach Wildrick and Fitz Wilson won the  4 x 800 Relay (9:47)
