• Lower School Track Wins 2024 Shelby League Championship

  The MUS Lower School Track and Field team won the Shelby League Championship on Friday  at MUS finishing the season undefeated. Twenty MUS athletes scored points during the final meet as the Owls finished with a team total of 107 points.  MUS also had a total of 21 PR’s set during the championship meet.

   

  The MUS scoring leaders were:

  Hudson Bobo 15 points (4 x 800 1^st, 1600 3^rd, 800 4^th, 4 x 400 4^th)

  Tommie Reed 14.5 points ( Long Jump 8^th, Hurdles 1^st, 100 7^th, 4 x 100 4^th)

  Harry Word 12 points ( Shot Put 2^nd, Discus 5^th)

  Benji Berry 12 points (4 x 800 1^st, 800 2^nd, 4 x 400 4^th)

  Tanner Mills 10 points (Shot Put 1^st)

  Fort Gusmus 9.5 points (400 1^st, 4 x 400 4^th)

   

  MUS Individual Winners:

  Tanner Mills won the Shot Put  (39-4)

  Tommie Reed won the 110 Hurdles (17.18) PR

  Zach Wildrick, Fitz Wilson, Hudson Bobo and Benji Berry won the 4 x 800 relay (9:35) PR

  The MUS Lower School track team won an 8 team meet on Thursday at MUS, scoring 159 points.

   

  The final team scores were:
