Bowling Team Headed to State

The bowling team defeated Harding Academy, 24-3, at Billy Hardwick’s All-Star Lanes on January 4 to finish region runner-up and clinch its first appearance in the TSSAA tournament since 2017.
The bowling Owls completed the 2023-24 regular season with a 5-3 record, defeating Briarcrest and Harding twice each, along with a victory over CBHS.

Junior Alex Yong took home the individual region championship on December 2, compiling a six-game total of 1,132 pins while defeating competitors from CBHS, SBA, Briarcrest, and Harding. Yong will compete in the individual tournament in Smyrna on January 17, and the team competition will be January 18-19.
