The results for the 2021 MUS Reading Challenge are in! Congratulations to the MUS community for reporting 321 books during the fourth quarter and 276 books during the third quarter, combining for a total of 597 books reported for the spring semester.
In the Upper School, freshmen Bryan Ding and Joel Lim topped the list with 78 and 77 books, respectively. Freshman Alan Zhou was runner-up with 36 books. The homerooms of Mr. Clay Smythe ’85 and Mr. Chris Fiano tied for most books and best participation. Mr. Jonathan Large’s homeroom took the prize for seniors with 12 books reported.
In the Lower School, eighth grader Marcus McCullers won with 26 books read. Mr. Whit Tenent’s homeroom read the most books overall and tied with Mr. Nick Blackwell’s homeroom for best participation. Mrs. Pam Haney read the most out of the faculty, completing 21 books during the spring semester.
