CSO Service Day: Sept. 14

As parents come on campus for Parent Back-to-School Day Wednesday, September 14, Upper School students have the opportunity to serve the 901 in a host of volunteer opportunities organized by Civic Service Organization. Continue reading for details and the signup link.
Upper School students meet in the Happy Mexican/McDonalds Parking lot at 8:15 am. Projects last from 9 to 11 a.m., and everyone will be finished by 11:30 a.m.

  1. Idlewild Presbyterian Church Food Distribution: Participate in a Mid-South Food Bank Mobile Pantry- 1750 Union Avenue Memphis, TN 38104 (10 volunteer slots)
  2. Carpenter Art Garden: Work to set up art projects for elementary school students- 295 Carpenter Street Memphis, TN 38112 (15 volunteer slots)
  3. St. Vincent De Paul Soup Kitchen: Help prepare and serve lunch to 150 hungry Memphians- 1306 Monroe Memphis, TN 38104 (6 volunteer slots)
