Coach Den't Recap of Rivalry Week
Last week was “Rivalry Week” as the MUS Owls battled CBHS in baseball, soccer, and lacrosse. The MUS varsity soccer and lacrosse teams played back-to-back games last Friday night on Tom Nix Field at CBHS. Thank you to all the spectators that made the atmosphere great.
CBHS came out fighting, and MUS lacrosse team found themselves down, 3-1, at the end of the first quarter. But the Owls meticulously battled there way back to win the game, 13-10. It was a great team effort, and the offense began to hit its stride in the third quarter.
We have a big weekend coming up with two home games: McCallie Friday night at 7:30 p.m. and Baylor Saturday at 11:00 a.m. These games will be great challenges for us, but we are excited about the opportunity to compete.
