Hart and Young Receive College Board Recognition

Two seniors, Braxton Hart and Tamaz Young, have been selected for the National African American Recognition Program. Hart is also a National Merit Semifinalist, and Young is a National Merit Commended Scholar.
Students who take the PSAT and are African American, Hispanic American or Latinx, Indigenous, or who attend school in a rural area or small town, may be invited to apply for academic recognition as part of the College Board National Recognition Programs.

These programs create pathways to college for students from underrepresented communities by awarding them academic honors and connecting them with universities across the country.
