McKay Named First Chair of Economics

Headmaster Pete Sanders named Social Studies Instructor Orlando McKay as the first Pam and George Sousoulas Chair of Economics, endowed by MUS alumnus George Sousoulas ’78 to honor his late wife.
“I felt the [Chair of Economics] would give us the greatest amount of depth and add to the core structure of the school,” Sousoulas says.

McKay, an MUS instructor since 1996, teaches economics and psychology. MUS offers two economics courses to juniors and seniors, Honors Economics: Finance and Theory and Honors Economics II: Management.
