Alston Featured in Book

Athletics Director Bobby Alston is featured in 30 Days with America’s High School Coaches by Martin Davis.
The book tells “true stories of successful coaches using imagination and a strong internal compass to shape tomorrow’s leaders” with 30 short stories showing the diversity in coaching approaches nationwide.

“Coach Bobby Alston … is successful on the field and in helping his players embrace the many advantages they’ve been given,” Davis says. “But Coach Alston would succeed anywhere, and his story will inspire you to flourish where you’re planted, too.”

It released January 25, 2022, and is available for pre-order on Amazon.

Alston joined the varsity football staff in 1980 and became just the third head football coach at MUS in 1998 after serving under Head Coach Jake Rudolph for 17 years. His record includes four state championships and four runner-up finishes. He also serves as head coach for track and field.
