Sellers Wins Grant for Latin Podcast

Ryan Sellers, chair of the Department of Classical and Modern Languages, received a Bridge Initiative Grant from the Committee for the Promotion of Latin and Greek.

The funding will support Sellers’ podcast, Quintilian: The Latin Teacher Podcast, where he takes a deep dive into the classical language, culture, and the challenges of teaching the subject. Sellers seeks to connect teachers of classical studies so the profession can continue to advance.
“The objectives of the podcast are to showcase classicists who have had interesting careers and/or who are doing innovative things in the field of classical studies, to provide a platform for the discussion of important professional issues, and to build bridges between members of the profession,” Seller says.

The Committee for the Promotion of Latin and Greek is a division of the Classical Association of the Middle West and South. The aim of the organization is to support anyone who has an interest in classical antiquities.

The podcast is available on all streaming platforms, and this website.
