Home Meet 1 Recap
The team continued to look strong in the field events after the conclusion of our first home meet. We scored 80.5 of our 114.5 total in the field events. So that is a positive. But we will need to continue our efforts to do better on the track each week. We did have many guys establish new PR's which is excellent. Our medalist from yesterday were:
Gold: Gavin McKay - Long Jump; Eston Pahlow - Pole Vault; Dorian Hopkins - Shot
Silver: Matthew Rhodes - Dicsus; Gavin McKay - Pole Vault; Alex Warr - 1600; 4x400 Relay - DeVonte Nelson, Mason Pahlow, Gavin McKay, Sellers Shy
Bronze: Dorian Hopkins - Discus; Marcus Henderson - Shot
Thankfully we were blessed with outstanding weather and a very cooperative group of teams that helped make the meet run smoothly with over 400 athletes in attendance. We are back at home next Tuesday with a different slate of track events.
