Alston in Football Coaches Hall of Fame

Head Football Coach and Director of Athletics Bobby Alston was inducted into the Tennessee Football Coaches Association fifth Hall of Fame class December 1 in Cookeville, TN. 
Alston, who has been coaching at MUS since 1977, is in his 21st year as head football coach. His overall record, 170-74, includes four state championships in seven title-game appearances – including back-to-back state title wins in 2004 and 2005, 2008 and 2009, and runner-up showings in 2012, 2013, and 2018. Under his leadership, the school has had 19 consecutive football playoff appearances from 2000-2018.
