Exams are approaching, and it’s time to get ready. This week was the last week of regular classes. Wednesday, December 12, is a half day with dismissal at 12:05 p.m. Before Thanksgiving Lower School counselors distributed Lower School exam study calendars and have continued to offer study reminders and test-taking tips. Mrs. Amy Poag will have a list of additional Lower-School faculty review opportunities posted on her door after December 11. Upper School policies and exam information are here, and a host of exam preparation opportunities have been offered. Two key opportunities are still underway:
Evening exam study sessions will continue through December 18. Two sessions have just been added: Sunday, December 9, and Sunday, December 16, 3-6 p.m.
Exam Week ASAP hours will run 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., December 13, 14, 17, and 18. These sessions are hosted in the Lower School Dunavant Lecture Hall. All students are welcome to bring a lunch or drop in any time for quiet study and/or to attend the review sessions running from around noon until 2 p.m. each day.
Any students on campus after exams have ended must either be in an authorized, supervised activity or in ASAP in the Lower School. ASAP students must be picked by 3 p.m. during Exam Week. See After School Academic Program and Campus Hours in the U Book for more information about ASAP and school hours.
