Grace, and patience, and understanding all around – a parent emailed us to encourage the practice of these ideals as we navigate our new normal.
She is juggling seven different software programs to help her three children – Grades 7, 3, and 1 at three different schools – continue their education from home, while keeping up with her job responsibilities and being a mom.
She expressed gratitude for all the teachers are doing as they face their own challenges – learning a whole new way of teaching, developing virtual lessons in just a few days, working to stay connected with their students, dealing with technical difficulties – while helping their own children with online learning, and caring for sick or elderly family members, and coping with the myriad challenges we are all facing now.
We at MUS know this situation has been disruptive to your rhythm at home as it has been to us as a school. We know there have been a few glitches, and we are working to minimize them – the ones we can control – on our end. Thank you for your continued grace, and patience, and understanding. We are doing our best to practice the same.
