2021-22 Dress, Grooming Policy

Standard dress and grooming requirements will return in the fall with one exception: Lower School students may wear athletic shoes. (Upper School students must wear non-athletic shoes.) Shorts will not be allowed during the school day. Coat and tie are required on Fridays.
The State of Tennessee back-to-school tax-free period will be the weekend of July 30 - August 1, but the school supply lists are HERE (stored on both parent Resource Boards) if you want to begin before July 30.

Standard dress and grooming requirements include dress slacks or khaki pants worn with a belt, collared shirts with tucked-in shirttails, sport coats and ties on Fridays; shoes must be in good repair, and socks must be worn.

T-shirts, sandals, hunting/military wear, denim, shorts, or earrings won’t be permitted. Faces must be clean-shaven, and hair must be neatly and appropriately groomed so that it stays out of the eyes, above the mid-point of the ear, and above the collar in the back. We take class photos after Opening Convocation on August 16, so be ready!
