A team of Instructor in Science Laura Landry’s students and a research group at New York University are working on a neurobiology project, and they need your help. Using the online platform MindHive, they are studying what type of break from mental work results in the best performance following the break. Volunteers will complete a four-question survey after taking short breaks between two sets of simple visual or numerical memory tasks. Volunteers are anonymous, and the survey takes no more than 15 minutes.
The surveys are open to the entire community – students, families, alumni, and friends, so feel free to share with others. To volunteer, simply go to https://mindhive.science/studies/different-breaks and complete the tasks. Thanks in advance for your help!
