Lower School Swim Wins 2023 Shelby County Championship

The Owls swam fast Saturday with everyone on the team contributing to their 1st place finish at the Shelby County Swim League Middle School Championship meet.  The team placed high in individual and relay events, and several Owls crushed their PRs.  A special shout out to those who earned top 3 event finishes:
Charlie Dudek- 100 BA (1st), 100 IM (2nd), 100 FR (3rd)
Landon Hottinger- 50 FR (2nd), 50 BA (2nd)
Russell Lindeman- 50 FR (1st), 100 FR (1st), 50 FL (1st)
Benjamin Sims- 100 IM (1st), 50 BR (1st), 100 FR (2nd)
Joseph Zhao- 50 FL (3rd)
100 medley relay: Charlie, Benjamin, Russell, Landon (1st)
200 FR relay: Beau Green, Joseph, Emery Taylor, Anthony Edwards (2nd)
Full meet results are attached. The team was recognized during Lower School Assembly where presented the 1st place team trophy to Mr. Humphreys.
