Owls Robotics Earns Honors

Two Owls Robotics teams earned honors at the VEX at the Nest tournament held January 27 on the campus of St. Benedict at Auburndale.
The team of freshmen Advay Adapa, Joshua Dong, Ike Emmert, Chase Frazer, and Walker Shirley earned the Excellence Award, which is the highest VEX Robotics recognition for overall excellence, outstanding achievement, and dedication to innovation. This group also achieved top scores on the skills course, making them Robot Skills Champion.

The team of eighth graders Emery Taylor and Joseph Zhao and seventh graders Colton Henry, Mohid Salman, and Mac Wilson won the Judges Award for special attributes, exemplary effort, perseverance, and accomplishments deserving of special recognition.
